Poem : Circus

Poem : Circus

circus

Fall into sweet nothingness
No feeling
Numbness covers all.
Individuality knocked out
One foot in front of the other
The march of the martyr.
The weight is crushing me
The fear enveloping.
I look at the soil
Imagine it like a sheet covering my soul.
Breath sticks in my throat
I am frozen for a while.
Once time ticks again
I slowly and confusingly stir.
The circus is leaving town.
Horses, monkeys, men.

Poem : Voyager

Poem : Voyager

voyager

Travelling the wrong way
(Down)
Teaching myself lessons long forgotten.
The brain rejects them
The brain rejects me.
Look into the light
It darkens all I see.
Into the madness
Circle after circle after circle.
The old days long gone,
We would laugh and move on.
Now it remains
Hanging over us like a curse.
Today a brgging for mercy,
Tomorrow, a grave.
