Poem : Heart Attacked

Poem : Heart Attacked

heart.jpg

“Anyone sitting here?”
She says it in a dream voice that wakes me from misery.
She moves my heart and puts it in her clutch bag
Where it stays for decades
As others get piled on top of it
More exciting varieties
Hell, she has probably forgotten I’m still there.
But hell, I remember. I do.
