Here is the great new poster art to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Clive Barker’s classic Hellraiser. On September 25th at the Prince Charles Cinema in central London, the film will be shown in 35mm and anyone who goes to the screening will get a special art print of the new Pinhead piece.
Arrow Video whose version of Hellraiser is already great, will be releasing a steelbook version of the Blu-Ray, which hits on October 23rd, so grab that too.
Not enough Hellraiser? Actually I don’t think you can have enough, can you? Then let’s pick up the re-release of the soundtrack on vinyl, also with the new artwork.
More, Clive Barker, MORE!
Can we have a decent UK Blu of Nightbreed now? Or is there one I have somehow missed?
Earlier in the week, I told you about the upcoming epic tome from Jem Roberts, Tales Of Britain, which, as the title suggests, travels all over this green and pleasant land and uncovers some of the interesting, bizarre, humorous or just plain nasty characters that this land holds.
Now to get you ready for the book, Jem has given away a story on the official pledge site, Robin’s Arrow. Give it a read and then chuck your pennies in the pot, there are plenty of bonuses for signing up now, everything from your name in the book, to a tale told directly to you by the author himself!
I know we all have our favourite IPs (Kingdom Hearts! NHL! Tiger!), but it is always nice when a brand new one comes along to surprise and challenge. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for CupHead, which hits XBox One at the end of next month.
What we have here is a classic style platformer, but as well as the classic look, it has the classic difficulty, every video I have watched from Gamescom says the same – it is brilliant, but unforgiving.
The game uses hand painted cells to create a magical world where the heroic CupHead must fight against such things as giant angry carrots and big blue blobs and boxing frogs to save the day. Imagine Metal Slug meets Mega Man with the difficulty ramped up. I’ll be seeing this one on day one. Swear box – READY. 🙂

“It’s an officially released Nintendo product that says FUCK. My life is complete.”
“If God exists, it’s fucking me!”
In the world of tired Brexit separations and Trump style war games, you might forget all the great stories that we have right here in Britain. Luckily Jem Roberts is here to help you learn a lot more about this little island that we call home.
Tales Of Britain is an exciting sounding book that will bring us 77 tales from these isles, of course you will get to relive the tales of Robin Hood and King Arthur, but you will also meet others for the first time – want to hear of Mollie Whuppie or Jack O’Kent? Then this is the place to come.
You can help this exciting book become a reality and get yourself some sweet rewards too – everything from your name in the book to a tour of Bath with your hallowed author and trust me, I have spent nights with this fellow and you will be nothing but entertained!
