STAR WARS – An Obi-Wan Movie Is Coming :

You know that there will always be a part of me that wishes they would leave Star Wars alone, don’t risk watering down the classics to make a cheap buck. Then again, I adore Episode III and hell, I used to LOVE the Ewok movies and also I write a story every time they announce a new adventure so who is the fool now? The fool or the fool who writes about it?
Well, it seems we are getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie, I’m guessing (with no evidence of course!) they will just call it Kenobi like the forthcoming Solo. All we know so far is that it is being directed by Stephen Daldry, who directed Billy Elliot and The Hours and was set to next direct the movie version of Wicked.
No news yet on whether we will see McGregor back in the role but he seems to have been talking about it in interviews a lot recently so perhaps he has already been cast and has just been trolling us. Again, I’m guessing, but that is how we have always approached Star Wars possibilities, right? 🙂

“I cannot complain, the bottom line is the last match I had, yes, I got injured and it was a bad injury, but I went out wrestling one of the best, Seth Rollins, and it was for the WWE World Title. I mean, what a way to go out. A world title match, I cannot complain, I have no complaints. I did everything I could possibly do in this business it seems, so I’m satisfied.”

Monday Night Raw was a strange one last night, for mostly good reasons. Usually the Go-Home show is a mixture of staredowns and hype for the upcoming PPV, in this case SummerSlam. Yet last night we got some great matches as well as the usual promos for good and bad. Seeing Lesnar and Strowman almost going at it till ‘the whole locker room’ came down to stop them certainly made me more excited for the Fatal 4-Way on Sunday, but I could hve done without the Cass/Show section, for a match that screams ‘PRE-SHOW’. As Cass smiled at the booing crowd and said “I can stay here all night”, I actually felt as if he had been there all night and then we had to put up with an Enzo promo and Big Show arriving at the ring a good ten years after this would be a good thing. Oh well, if it does make the main show then at least it is a good time to get coffee.
I was shocked to see Balor/Wyatt seemingly thrown away on the free show, but instead it was a clever plot progress technique to make you shout for the return of The Demon on Sunday. Keeping this a secret would have produced one of the biggest pops possible on Sunday but the early reveal will at least put this one on the Must Watch List.
Also, I send out best wishes to Ric Flair who was rushed to hospital and has undergone surgery. Let’s hope he is back riding Space Mountain soon.
