Poem – Put Down The Big Dog :

And so we are supposed to bow down and save the man at the top
Forget the fact that people went to funerals alone
Wakes were cancelled
And family members were left alone with their grief.
This emotional thief who bowed down to the queen
Was drinking and living it up
While she was alone saying goodbye to her best friend.
We know how this ends,
The Big Dog opens the gates
Tells us we are now all free to do what we like
Rule Britannia,
But people don’t forgive
People don’t forget.
Your ink is on a million graves you raised a million glasses to.
