Sooo, here are the first announcements for the Taylor Hawkins tribute show at Wembley Motherfucking Stadium on September 3rd and boy, there are some amazing names already. Queen’s Roger Taylor and Brian May as well as Rufus Taylor, Roger’s son and excellent The Darkness drummer. Mark Ronson and QOTSA’s Josh Homme. Liam Gallagher. And tellingly, the line-up says ‘Foo Fighters with:’ so I don’t know if this means Foo Fighters headline or if they perform with all these other massive names. But Lee and Lifeson from Rush taking the stage together again is a massive get and I presume we will get Jack Black who is always up for some Rush action, as anyone sensible is.
