Poem – A Grave, Unkempt :

I did not expect my body to be found so quickly
I had purposely run far away
So as not to ruin any of my family’s favourite places.
I left no traces, no clues,
I suppose if you knew me you’d know
The places I would go to end it all
To heed the endless call.

Seems I ruined my brother’s Sunday
Got in the way of his football with my tragedy.
He didn’t even raise a glass to me
And now he does not even say he had a sister.
I’m just a blister,
A moment’s fleeting pain
And then never thought of again.
