Poem – A Ballad Of Remembrance :

So I was talking about you at work
My friend Paul complimented a poem I wrote about you
And we chatted about triggering things
How moments are remembered
And linger like limpets on an ancient boat.

As I walked home,
You were still on my mind
And I felt the familiar darkness drifting across my sun.
It’s easy to come undone in these situations
A pretext full of complications.

So I sat down and listened to KISS
Trying to give the sadness a miss.
I looked up to the sky
And saw two breaks in the cloud
It seemed like you regenerated me. Proud.
