I remember your pretty face, Little Silver,
You used to shine when you smiled my way
Even looking perfect when you walked out the door.
I try not to think of you anymore
But sometimes you enter my mind
And I feel warm and alive
And I look to the clouds and imagine you here,
A rainbow in my rainy sky.
When I was a kid, I LOVED the Rex Harrison Dr Dolittle and the Eddie Murphy ones made me guffaw occasionally, which is all I required from much-past-his-prime Murphy. I am certainly up for a return to the tale of Dolittle, especially with Robert Downey Jr in the role. He can make a movie entertaining just by turning up, so I hope he will have all the fun with this iconic character.
And look at the supporting cast! Emma Thompson as a parrot. Excellent. Selena Gomez as a giraffe. Excellent. JOHN CENA AS YOSHI. Yes! And not the first time Marion Cotillard has been a fox! If only Tom Holland was playing a spider this would be perfect. (I love Tom Holland!)
The Voyage Of Dr Dolittle arrives April 2019.

[I love Nick Aldis, from his time in Impact! through to his riveting current journey with the Ten Pounds Of Gold in NWA. Listen to an excellent interview, from which I got this quote, with the man himself and the (other) icon Austin Idol over at http://www.notsam.com as Sam Roberts delivers one of the most interesting interviews about all things NWA and some good territory tales from Idol. Recommended!]
One of the finest debuts of the 90s is set to return in gloriously deluxe fashion, with Kscope announcing the 21st anniversary editions of Mansun’s Attack Of The Grey Lantern.
The album will be released on Media Book CD, black vinyl, PURPLE VINYL!!! and four disc limited edition with 3 Cds and a DVD featuring the videos and a high definition mix. There will also be a CD of demos and rarities, a CD of BBC sessions and a 70 page book on the making of the record.
This timeless classic still sounds amazing to this day so I will be grabbing this on June 8th. PURPLE VINYL!!!! ❤
(And let’s hope there are deluxe versions of Six, Little Kix and Kleptomania just around the bend. Greedy Mansun fan, haha)
So, Iron Man, Dr Strange AND SPIDER-MAN??? There are other posters, but this is the Kendall one. ❤
I have always considered Eli Roth to be one of the best directors in recent Hollywood, hey Quentin agrees, so that’s the best quoting the best!
Now, after the horrific brilliance of Hostel, Hostel II, Cabin Fever and The Green Inferno, as well as the more recent Knock Knock and Death Wish, our great auteur is going into kids literature with The House With A Clock In Its Walls and what a Hollywood cast – Jack Black! Kyle MacLachlan! Cate Blanchette! Holy Sh!t!
